With the current LOGIQUICK tool campaign, ISCAR has set the course for its strategy in the coming years and regularly presents innovations and developments. Not only cutting tools and holders for turning, grooving, drilling, milling, and threading are in the spotlight, but also digital developments. These are increasingly becoming an integral part of modern, intelligent manufacturing.
To meet market demands, ISCAR has also expanded proven product families as part of LOGIQUICK, such as the SUMOCHAM series with self-centering drill heads. These are available in diameters ranging from four to 32.9 millimeters. Previously, the diameter increased in 0.5-millimeter increments; now ISCAR has introduced 0.1-millimeter steps. The tool specialist has optimized the cutting geometry of the drill heads for both steel and cast iron drilling.
ISCAR has also expanded the CHATTERFREE solid carbide (VHM) mills with several new corner radii. These versatile tools are designed for machining a wide range of steels. The T-SLOT family, a series of slot mills with interchangeable VHM heads, has also grown: the new milling head with a diameter of 25 millimeters rounds off the series. This allows users to efficiently create narrow slots and grooves in various materials.
Thread milling in no time
ISCAR now offers VHM thread mills with up to eight clamping slots, significantly reducing machining time. There are also innovations in tools with interchangeable cutting edges, such as the QUICKMTHREAD with triangular indexable cutting inserts (WSP). Its stepped design reduces cutting forces, minimizes bending stress, improves dynamic stability, and increases productivity. Both the VHM and indexable insert tools are equipped with internal coolant supply. This not only enhances cooling and lubrication during thread milling but also contributes to better chip flow and higher surface quality.
Innovative Designs
The MULTI-MASTER family consists of tools with interchangeable cutting sets and has been a flagship product of ISCAR for many years. In the LOGIQUICK campaign, the manufacturer presents new developments that further expand the application possibilities of the proven tool series. For example, the three-flute MULTI-MASTER drill heads for flat drilling. These drill heads combine a highly efficient cutting geometry with the robustness of the MULTI-MASTER concept.
The result is a highly productive and economical drill that excels particularly in short-chipping materials.
With the QUICKDMILL, ISCAR presents a compact 90-degree indexable milling cutter suitable for various milling operations. The highlight of the tool is its special four-flute right-hand WSP with cutting edges for drilling and milling. The stable dovetail clamping ensures a secure fit, reduces vibrations, and allows for process-safe use as well as consistently high surface qualities.
AI Power for the NEOITA
ISCAR has also enhanced its NEOITA, ISCAR's Tool Advisor, with smart AI features. These enable users to search for and access detailed material specifications – including metallurgical composition and common uses. Users can incorporate search results into the NEOITA material library database or their personal library. Additional new processing and comparison functions support them in optimizing their processes and manufacturing more economically.
