With the aim of strengthening Intec for the industry, Europe's largest association of mechanical and plant engineering, VDMA e.V., and the Leipzig Trade Fair are coming together.
This means that in the future, not only will the conceptual activities in the advisory board of the trade fair be connected, but the intensive technical and strategic exchange is officially sealed. 'We are very pleased to announce the new sponsorship of the VDMA specialist association for precision tools and the specialist association for measurement and testing technology. The collaboration has continuously intensified over the past years. A particular highlight was our joint implementation of FORUM.interaktiv at Intec 2025. The deepening of the collaboration creates significant added value for both sides and is a reflection of our long-term partnership,' explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of the Leipzig Trade Fair. Networking of the industry
The extensive networking of the two specialist associations will effectively benefit the development of Intec in the future. As part of its national and international activities, the VDMA specialist associations will be involved in the planning, preparation, and execution of the exhibitor and specialist visitor acquisition. The exchange at the conceptual and technical level also includes the specialist and supporting program and will significantly contribute to the substantive further development of the trade fair duo Intec and Zuliefermesse.
