Since 1999, Hommel GmbH has exclusively managed the product range of Nakamura-Tome. After 26 years, the paths of the two companies are parting ways. In a first step, Nakamura-Tome Precision Industry GmbH has taken over the sales and service areas at the locations of Cologne and Ingelheim as of July 15, 2025. As another planned short-term measure, the takeover of administrative areas is planned. In total, around 50 employees will take care of the needs of customers in Germany and Austria. The familiar contacts will remain largely unchanged in daily operations to ensure stability and transparency for customers and business partners.
With this step, Nakamura-Tome aims to get closer to customers through its own direct sales in the future and to strengthen its service and sales activities as well as technical customer service to implement customer-oriented automation solutions and new developments. Hommel GmbH supports this initiative.
