Christian Kurtenbach took over the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the CHIRON Group on June 1, 2025, thereby strengthening the management of the globally positioned corporate group headquartered in Tuttlingen.

Christian Kurtenbach pursued his studies in mechanical engineering and production technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Ulm and is a master of precision mechanics. He strengthens the management team of the CHIRON Group, which will in the future consist of Markus Unterstein CFO & Speaker Group Executive Committee a.i., Dr.-Ing. Claus Eppler CTO, and Christian Kurtenbach COO.

With his many years of experience as an independent entrepreneur, production manager, and managing director, Christian Kurtenbach brings the best prerequisites for his new role at the CHIRON Group: he started his professional independence in 1993. In 2014, he moved to Gebrüder Heller Maschinenfabrik GmbH as head of project management for the board and developed into the production manager and CEO of the Heller subsidiary Paatz Viernau GmbH in 2018. In 2023, he took over the position of Managing Director at Starrag AG & Starrag GmbH before taking on the new position at the CHIRON Group in June.
