From May 14 to 16, visitors will gain unique insights and extensive freedom of movement in the production of the two plants in Tübingen. These cover both the production of cutting plates including coating and the production of holders. Another highlight is expert presentations on the following topics: Aluminum processing, boring of holes, product configuration – From idea to tool, turning milling, grooving – parting – form grooving, HORN x AI. In addition, Horn will showcase live cutting and exciting live demonstrations on selected machines.

Horn uses artificial intelligence in its own production and is also involved in several projects on this topic. On Thursday, May 15, during the Horn Technology Days, the final presentation of the BMBF projects TransKI and MetaLearn will take place, in which Horn is a project partner. MetaLearn uses available data to derive optimization potentials for machine use. TransKI focuses on the use of transfer learning. Here, the AI uses knowledge from already learned application cases, trains itself, and transfers the results to other processes or machines to generate optimizations such as tool life predictions.

In addition, 50 co-exhibitors will complement the event and showcase the latest technology trends and solutions. Numerous exhibits will also be present. The special exhibition of HORN Hartstoffe GmbH on the topic 'from powder to finished blank' rounds off the event. Markus Horn, Managing Director of Paul Horn GmbH: 'Engage in dialogue at eye level with our speakers and experts as well as with our numerous partner companies. Come to Tübingen and experience Horn.'
